What is ailurophobia?

Phobias are very difficult to control, so people that have this kind of problem won´t get near cat’s, will try to ignore them. In cases of extreme fear, they can have symptoms: trembling, agitation, nausea or respiratory problems. If someone presents these symptoms when they see a cat, they should seek psychological help.

Cats usually try to get close to people that are fearful. These people won’t look, try to touch or get too close of them which is exactly what scares cats when they meet new people.
